For nine months, most babies will have experienced "cozy comfort" where all of their needs are met. Any of us who have spent any time in the water and love it, can agree that there is a degree of calm relaxation that makes it difficult for some of us to want to leave. Personally, of the water in the pool and the ocean wasn't cold, I would definitely stay. Now couple that with a good meal and good company and you have the makings of a good life, or at least a satisfying vacation. Turns out, those months in the belly are a vacation, and soon your baby will be introduced to the reality that there are some changes on the horizon.
